Chief of the Defence Forces who is also National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) Council Chairperson, General Charles Kahariri on 23rd September 24 made a visit to the NDU-K stand at the ongoing Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) at Jamhuri Park.

The University Council Chair was taken through displays by NDU-K Seat, International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC), Defence College of Health Science (DCHS) and Defence Forces Technical College (DEFTEC), the NDU-K Colleges displaying a NITF this year.

During the visit, Gen Kahariri lauded the NDU-K team for the exemplary preparations urging them to make certain that the NDU-K core mandate is understood by to those who will visit the stand, as well as ensuring that discussions and queries are dealt with to the satisfaction of the audiences, thereby guaranteeing visitors fully understand the University’s place in the current and future environment.

The Council Chair was accompanied by Service Commanders, General Officers, Chairman of Ministry of Defence/Kenya Defence Forces NITF Organising Committee, Brigadier Oscar Muleyi, Senior Officers among others.

The NITF opened its gates to the public on 23 Sep 24 and will close on 29 Sept 24.
