Director Examinations
Brigadier Elizabeth Omollo joined the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) on October 1997. Before joining she was a secondary school teacher in Nyamira County. She was appointed the Director of Examinations National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) on 23 July 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) Degree from Moi University, Masters in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi and Masters of Arts in International Security and Strategy (ISS) form King’s College London (KCL), United Kingdom (UK). She is also a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS), UK.
Brigadier Omollo has held several appointments since joining military service, including Unit Education Officer in the Women Service Corps (WSC) and Moi Air Base (MAB), Aide De Camp (ADC) to Assistant Chief of General Staff Personnel and Logistics (ACGS P&L), Admin Officer VIP wing - MAB, Staff Officer 2 in charge of Education and Staff Officer 1 in charge of Personnel at Kenya Air Force HQ. She also held various Instructional and Education positions at International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC) to include Directing Staff, Head of Curriculum and Head of Training and Education. Her last position before assuming current role was Colonel Plans and Programmes IPSTC.
Brigadier Omollo has also served in United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) 2003-2004 and Election observer and cessation of hostilities mission in Mozambique 2014 -2015
Her decorations include, United Nation Medal, and other Constitutional medals given in the Kenya Defence Force.
