Brigadier Apollo Ogola Aloka is a senior officer of the Kenya Air Force with over three decades of distinguished service since his enlistment in August 1994. His leadership experience spans key appointments including Staff Officer II Security and Liaison at Kenya Air Force Headquarters, Commanding Officer of the Administration Wing at Moi Air Base, Deputy Base Commander at Moi Air Base, Senior Directing Staff at the Air Department of the National Defence College Kenya, and Chief of Systems at Defence Headquarters. These roles have equipped him with deep expertise in both operational and strategic military environments.

Academically, Brigadier Aloka demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous professional development. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy at the University of Nairobi. He holds a Master of Strategic Studies (Warfighting Concentration) from Air University (2022), a Bachelor of Military Science from Egerton University (2019), and a Diploma in Strategic Studies from the University of Nairobi (2017). He completed his secondary education at Starehe Boys' Centre in 1993.

His professional military education includes prestigious courses such as Joint Professional Military Education at the Air War College (USA, 2022), Senior Command Course (Kenya, 2018), G2 Staff Course (2017), Junior Command Course (2011), and G3 Course (2009). Additionally, he has undertaken specialized training in international flight safety and aircraft accident investigation in the USA, counter-terrorism and intelligence analysis in Kenya, and strategic leadership at the International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC).

A married officer and seasoned aviator, Brigadier Aloka combines operational proficiency with strategic foresight, making him a key asset in advancing defence capability, institutional excellence, and national security objectives.
