DELEGATION FROM THE KLISC VISITS NDU-K

A Delegation from Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) recently paid a visit to National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K). They were received by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Academic & Students Affairs, Prof. Ann Muigai on behalf Vice-Chancellor Lieutenant General Jimson Mutai.

The delegation, led by Governing Board Chairperson Dr. Arnold Mwanzu, was at the University to explore areas of possible collaboration and partnership between the two institutions.
The visits provided the two institutions a forum to learn first-hand lessons and experiences that have steered each to effectively execute their mandates.

Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium was established in 2003 with the main objective of collective subscription to electronic resources to cope with the increasing cost of information resources. The consortium draws its membership from University Libraries, Research institutions, Public/National Libraries.

During the meeting, the DVC, was flanked by: the Director Examination Brig Elizabeth Omollo, Director Legal services Col Julius Ngatia, Head of Graduate Programmes Lt. Col (Dr) Emmanuel Kondoltiony and Deputy University Librarian Mr Dickens Wendo, among others.
