KGCPA DELEGATION VISITS NDU-K TO EXPLORE COLLABORATIONS
The National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) hosted a delegation from the Kenya Guidance, Counselling, and Psychological Association (KGCPA), led by the organization’s Vice-Chairperson, Bishop Dr. Davis Gatua. The visit was aimed at identifying potential areas for collaboration and partnership between the two institutions.
The engagement provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange insights and best practices that have contributed to their respective successes.
Speaking on behalf of Vice-Chancellor Lieutenant General Jimson Mutai, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Security Studies, Major General William Shume, emphasized NDU-K’s commitment to partnerships that promote societal well-being through education and community outreach. He reiterated the university’s dedication to working with KGCPA and other key stakeholders to uphold high academic and professional standards for national, regional, and global impact.
Bishop Dr. Gatua expressed gratitude to the university’s leadership for hosting the delegation and sharing valuable perspectives on potential areas of cooperation.
Also present at the meeting were Director of Examinations Brig Elizabeth Omollo, Director of the Centre for Security and Strategic Studies Brig Peter Chelimo, Director of Legal Services Col Julius Ngatia, and Head of Teaching and Curriculum Col (Dr) Charles Imbiakha, among others.
