NDU-K AND STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC PLANNING EXCHANGE IDEAS

National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Research, Innovation and Security Studies, Major General William Shume presided over the opening of a three-day workshop for NDU-K Strategic Plan Committee, run by a team from State Department for Economic Planning.

In his remarks, Maj General Shume, affirmed the importance of the workshop saying that the partnership between the two agencies would enrich the University's strategic vision to enable its alignment with national development objectives.

He said that NDU-K is committed to adapting to the evolving security challenges through advancing practical research and fostering a culture of excellence so as to bolster national security and development.

The event was also attended by the DVC Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Anne Muigai, DVC Finance & Administration Major General (Rtd) Patrick Amogola, Directors, Heads of Departments and Senior Officers.
