A team from NDU-K recently made a visit to the Nairobi office of University of Nicosia Africa (UNICAF) for a meeting aimed at developing a memorandum of understanding between UNICAF and Ministry of Defence.

During the meeting, the parties explored areas of possible collaboration, which include scholarship opportunities, crafting of training programmes and e-learning opportunities in undergraduate and graduate levels at UNICAF and its partner institutions. The MOU would also specify principles and responsibilities for each institution, including channels of communication and information dissemination.

The two institutions established a Joint Coordinating Committee to oversee the finetuning and eventual implementation of the MOU.

The NDU-K team comprised Director Legal Services, Col Julius Ngatia, Director Quality Assurance, Col David Ojwang, Col Jared Oigara and Capt Jackline Jepchirchir.
