NDU-K VISITS MMUST FOR A COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENT OPERATIONALIZATION MEETING
National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) Staff visited Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST) to discuss the operationalization of the two institutions’ Collaborative Agreement (CA) signed in August 2024.
The signed collaborative Agreement between the institutions will be aiming at mutual collaboration in several areas that include; joint research,grant writing, joint training, staff and student exchange, curriculum development, resource-sharing, as well as community engagement.
Speaking during the meeting, MMUST Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs), Prof. Hussein Golicha, said the implementation of the CA will enable the two institutions to leverage emerging technologies as an enabler of delivering educational content and impart knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will have far-reaching changes in the education sphere, useful in contemporary work environments.
Brigadier Mboya Mwenga, who led NDU-K delegation reiterated the mutual benefits that the two institutions stand to gain based on the unique niche that they occupy. He emphasized that NDU-K is committed to the partnership with MMUST to ensure requisite training of top-notch security professionals in Kenya.
