National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) Vice-Chancellor, Lieutenant General Jimson Mutai, representing the Chief of the Defence Forces and Chairperson of the NDU-K Council, General Charles Kahariri at the inaugural International Security Conference on Africa (ISCA) held in Kigali, Rwanda. His participation reinforced NDU-K’s role as a regional partner in defence and security education.

Themed “Reshaping Africa’s Landscape in a Dynamic, Complex Global Environment,” the conference brought together a wide range of African and international defence officials, policymakers, and security experts. It served as a critical platform for addressing the continent’s increasingly complex security challenges while promoting collaboration and coordinated responses.

Recognizing the rapidly growing complexity of security challenges in Africa, the leaders at the conference reaffirmed their commitment to fostering strategic cooperation and developing innovative solutions to bolster regional stability and security.
