The evaluation, conducted at the University Main Campus in Lanet, Nakuru, was led by officers from the Public Management Directorate. This exercise is part of a nationwide review involving all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

The evaluation is based on parameters; target achievements, expected outputs, and performance indicators as outlined in the Performance Contracts for the financial year 2024/25.

Representing the University Vice-Chancellor, Lieutenant General David Tarus, Director of Security Studies, Brigadier Mboya Mwenga, reaffirmed that the evaluation process embodies a shared responsibility to transparently account for the University’s achievements against the specific targets outlined in its performance contract. He reiterated NDU-K’s commitment to excellence, results-based management, and continuous institutional growth.

He emphasized that NDU-K has made significant progress in embracing the performance contracting process by streamlining procurement process, upholding financial prudence, strengthening the digital system, and deepening commitment to competence, innovation and excellence.
