Vice-Chancellor Visits NITF Stand

Vice-Chancellor (VC), Maj Gen Said Farah on 21 September 23 made a visit to the National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) stand at the upcoming Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) at Jamhuri Park. The VC inspected ongoing preparations at the stand and was taken through displays by NDU-K Seat, International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC), Defence College of Health Science (DCHS) and Defence Forces Technical College (DEFTEC), the NDU-K Colleges displaying a NITF this year.

VC asked the team to tell the NDU-K story to those who will visit the stand, ensuring that discussions and queries are dealt with proffessionaly and to the satisfaction of our audiences. He further asked presenters to resonate their narratives to the theme of this year’s Fair, thereby ensuring visitors understand the University’s place in the current and future environment.

The VC was accompanied by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Innovation and Strategic Studies, Maj Gen William Shume, Principal, Defence College of Health Sciences, Col Hellen Kamotho and Chairman of NITF Organising Committee, Col Gatu Muhia, among others.

 

The NITF will open its gates to the public on 25 September 23 to 1 October 23.
