The Kenya Defence Forces were honored to provide a guest lecture at the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) session at Strathmore Law School on March 2, 2023.
The experiences of our own Brigadier Mweu, Brigadier Odeny, and Brigadier Njeru on the battlefield were related to the law of armed conflict.

Operation of IHL in the Battlefield was the topic of discussion in the lecture. The lecture's goal was to clarify for the students how IHL operates in combat situations. Do military personnel receive IHL training? Do they use IHL concepts on the field of battle?
