The President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces H.E
William Samoei Ruto on 10 March 2023 made a visit to NDU-K Seat in Lanet, Nakuru County.
President Ruto, who is also the Chancellor of NDU-K, was briefed on NDU-K programmes and updated on
developments on-going at the University.
The President was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Defence (MOD), Hon Aden Duale, PS
MOD, Hon Patrick Mariru, Chief of the Defence Forces, Gen Robert Kibochi, who is also Chairperson of
NDU-K Council, among other MOD and KDF Senior leaders.
The briefing and tour of the University was conducted by Vice-Chancellor NDU-K, Lt Gen Jonah Mwangi
and NDU-K senior leadership.
