The National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K) has convened a comprehensive Examinations Workshop aimed at strengthening academic standards and enhancing the integrity and credibility of the University’s assessment processes.

In her remarks as she officiated the opening session, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) for Academic and Students Affairs, Prof. Ann Mungai, underscored the University’s unwavering commitment to maintaining high academic standards aligned with both national and international benchmarks.

She emphasized that examinations are a critical component of the learning process and called upon participants to strictly adhere to established policies and procedures to safeguard the credibility and integrity of the University’s academic programmes.

The Director of Examinations, Brigadier Elizabeth Omollo, reaffirmed NDU-K’s commitment to delivering credible, fair, and globally competitive academic programmes. She further highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the institution.

The workshop forms part of NDU-K’s broader strategic agenda to strengthen institutional capacity and ensure the delivery of quality education in line with its mandate of developing strategic leaders for national and regional security.
