The Vice Chancellor, National Defence University-Kenya (NDU-K), Lieutenant General David Tarus, has signed the University’s Performance Contract for the Financial Year 2026/2027. The signing ceremony was presided over by the Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Hon. Soipan Tuya, reaffirming the University’s commitment to accountability, efficiency and excellence in service delivery.

At NDU-K, performance contracting is not just an annual activity, but a key management tool that drives accountability, efficiency and results. It provides a clear framework for setting measurable targets, monitoring progress and ensuring that institutional activities remain aligned with the University’s strategic priorities and mandate.

The signing marks NDU-K’s commitment to achieving its set targets and strengthening its contribution to defence, security, leadership and strategic studies during the 2026/2027 financial year.
